What can we make with biodegradable polymers?
"The sky is the limit" as they say. Think of any disposable plastic item you have bought, or that came with your purchase that you have used and discarded and we can probably make that same item in a biodegradable compostable material. Our products will reassimilate into the environment.
Another distinct development particularly in the agricultural, horticultural field, is the ability, with several grades of EcoEarth polymers, to blend in controlled release additives for certain products. During the extrusion process we can encapsulate slow release fertilizers, pheromones, various odours, essences, selected herbicides, fungicides, as well as repellents to protect the plants from insect attack.
EcoEarth products can be :-
· masterbatch coloured
· Printed On (biodegradable inks, naturally)
· Glued with water or solvent based adhesives
· Laminated onto other fibres such as paper, cardboard and fabrics.
· Several grades are approved for use in packaging of fresh foods and meats.
